Vignos Lower Extremity Grade
Measurement framework:
Clinician reported Outcome. A 10-point classification designed originally for DMD. It contains 8 grades of walking and standing and two grades for non-ambulatory ability.

Clinical application:
Can be a quick method of summarising mobility however it lacks sensitivity in non-ambulatory subjects. It may not always capture progression in a hierarchical way. For example, the ability to stand up from a chair / climb stairs do not follow the same pattern for all subjects.
Training / training material
Requires no training. Can be conducted on a patient reported level as well as being observed by a clinician.
