Duchenne muscular Dystrophy Functional Ability Self- Assessment Tool (DMDSAT)
Measurement framework:
Designed to measure functional ability in subjects with DMD. They are asked to grade walking ability (0 – 5), arm function (0 – 6), ability to transfer and need for respiratory support to produce a more global measure of functional ability. Used on a UK sample to map cost of illness and health related quality of life for DMD (Landfeldt 2015).
