The Transitioning Assessment North Star (TANS) is a novel yet unvalidated measures for subjects where ambulation is becoming more difficult and independence transfers and self-care becomes more important to capture.

It consists of the easier items from the NSAA assessment and adapted observed items from the Egen Klassifikation Scales.

The resources below provide guidance on the TANS scale but please also refer to the NSAA assessment for further assistance on items.
